Summer concert series to feature Jose Costa

The Jamestown Parks and Recreation department will present Jose Costa solo steel drum band this Sunday, Aug. 9, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at East Ferry Memorial Square. This free concert is part of the Summer Music in Jamestown series.
Costa performs music with a Latin, jazz, reggae and Caribbean sound. He has performed in numerous venues in and around the New England area, and has shared the stage with artists such as John Allmark, Greg Abate, Dan Moretti, Mike Renzi, Duke Belair, Rebecca Paris and the late Art Pelosi.
The event is sponsored by Baker’s Pharmacy.
Bring blankets or beach chairs to enjoy this special evening. In case of rain, the concert will be held at the Recreation Center.
